Mr. Hayashi, Head of Pakistan Japan Centre for Mutual Cooperation attended the Japanese Book Donation Ceremony “READ JAPAN PROJECT”

National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST), Pakistan, was selected as the beneficiary for "READ JAPAN PROJECT" (Implemented by Tokyo Foundation for Policy Research as a Nippon Foundation-subsidized project). On October 25th (Tuesday), about 100 books related to Japan selected by Japanese & foreign researchers and journalists were donated to the university library through Embassy of Japan in Pakistan.

NUST Rector Engr Javed Mahmood Bukhari, Pro-Rector RIC Dr. Rizwan Riaz, the Ambassador of Japan H.E. Mitsuhiro Wada, and Head of Japan Centre Kango Hayashi were invited to attend the donation ceremony.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Mr. Hayashi was given the opportunity to deliver a speech, where he mentioned the effective use of the donated books and his vision for Japanese language/culture education in the future.

We will continue to further collaborate with NUST to initiate Japanese language education and Japanese culture awareness activities for NUST students/graduates so that we can introduce and dispatch them to various Japanese companies in the future.
