During the visit to the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) in Pakistan　by two executives from our company, namely Mr. Honjo, Corporate Officer, and Ms. Morimoto, Manager in the Human Resources Department and Head of the Japanese Language Program, an event titled ‘Discovery Japan’ was held to introduce the current state of Japan's IT industry and the IT human resource needs of Japanese companies. The event was attended by approximately 50 students, mostly from Information and IT academic fields.

Mr. Honjo, who is in charge of serving as the contact point for Japanese companies, explained with various specific examples regarding ‘what topics are attracting attention in Japan nowadays’ as well as about ‘what kind of work options are available’.
Furthermore, regarding language, which can be one of the barriers to working in a Japanese company, Ms. Morimoto, who is in charge of training, introduced our company’s Japanese language training program as well as about the support provided by our company’s Bridge Engineers, in order to provide the participants with the contents to help visualize a high-resolution image of what it is like to work in Japan.

Moving forward, we will continue to deepen our interaction with students, hold regular Japanese language programs, announce job opportunities in Japanese companies for internships and development project positions among others and lay the foundation for future cooperation and career growth between Pakistan and Japan in the IT industry.
